Ella is still in her infant at the age of 13 months, can you believe this? She may never move out of her infant seat and into a big girls seat. Look at her hands, yes she still sleeps with her hands behind her head.

Our Special guest at Ella's First Birthday!
Here is our special guest at Ella's First Birthday. This is Melissa Duncan and she is very special person to my family. She was Ella's very special NICU nurse while she was in the NICU!! She was the nurse that was in the delivery room with me when I delivered her and was also Ella's first nurse for the first 6 days in the NICU! Those first couple of days in the NICU are very traumatic for a parent of a preemie baby and she was very comforting and answered all the questions we had about our very tiny and fragile baby. Melissa was also there the day we left the hospital after being in there for 44 days. We both left the NICU in tears that day. Sad to say goodbye and thrilled to be finally taking our baby home. Melissa is one of those people that touch your life and you never forget them. She drove all the way from Troy to surprise us at the birthday party. Please Pray for her right now, she is going through a very difficult time right now in her life.
